The day you have been waiting for has finally been set!  Seedlings will be available for pick-up at the Big Lakes County Administration Office Parking Lot in High Prairie from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm on May 31, 2019.  Please make every attempt to pick up your trees during that time, or contact Sheila Kaus, Agricultural Fieldperson at 780-523-5955 for more details.

Once you have the trees, the faster they are planted, the better the seedlings chance of survival. If you are not able to plant that weekend, please keep your seedlings in a cool, dark and dry place until planting.  If the wait for planting will be over 3 days, it may be best to plant them in an established garden for the time being.

We still have the following seedling available:

  • Colorado Spruce
  • Bebbs Willow
  • Sandbar Willow
  • White Birch
  • Chokecherry
  • Poplar
  • Lilac

Please note: payment is due when your order is placed.  Payment may be made by cash or cheque at the Big Lakes County Office.  Orders not picked up will be distributed at the Agricultural Fieldman’s discretion unless prior arrangements have been made.  Please make every effort to pick up your trees.
