Course Overview
Created with input from experienced hemp farmers and industry experts, the Hemp Farming course is designed for conventional and organic farmers that are thinking about farming hemp for the first time or farmers that are thinking about growing a small test plot of hemp. 
Farmers who currently grow industrial hemp will also benefit from this course by gaining a deeper understanding of how to harvest hemp for different business end uses. 

Start farming hemp!
The Hemp Farming course provides an overview of scale production techniques for industrial hemp. 
This course is comprised of 5 modules, each being 1 hour in length. Throughout this course, students will learn about key topics including:
• Introduction to hemp farming
• Economics of hemp production for different end uses.
• Planning and production strategy
• Organic and conventional crop management
• Harvest Management for different end uses

Learn from Farmers
Students will also get tips about harvesting hemp from 4 farmers located in different geographic climates across Canada. Watch over an hour of case study interviews filmed at the farm.
