Notice of Public Hearing Bylaw 10-2019

Council is considering proposed Bylaw No. 10-2019.  The purpose of Bylaw 10-2019 is to adopt the Municipal District of Greenview & Big Lakes County Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP). Copies of the proposed Intermunicipal Development Plan are available at the County Administration Building between the hours of 8:15 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Any person, group of persons, or person representing them who claims to be affected by the proposed bylaw amendment may make an oral or written submission to Council for consideration.  If you would like to make a presentation to Council, contact Big Lakes County at 780-523-5955.

The Public Hearing will be held on June 26, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Big Lakes County Administration Office.  Council will consider any oral or written presentations with respect to the proposed Intermunicipal Development Plan.

Notice of Public Hearing – Land Use Bylaw Amendment 11-2019 

Council for Big Lakes County is considering proposed amendments to the Big Lakes County Land Use Bylaw.  The purpose of proposed Bylaw No. 11-2019 is to amend Section 6.1 (Accessory Buildings) as follows:

Add Section 6.1.5 - Notwithstanding Section 6.1.1, at the discretion of the Development Authority, an accessory building may be constructed on a lot in the absence of a principal building if the proposed accessory building is required to accommodate the storage of vehicles or equipment.

Copies of the proposed Land Use Bylaw Amendment may be examined in the office of the County Administration Building between the hours of 8:15 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Council for Big Lakes County is considering a proposed amendment to the Big Lakes County Land Use Bylaw No. 03-2017. The purpose of proposed Bylaw No. 12-2019 is to re-district Plan 022 0734, Block 1, Lot 2 (within NW 20-74-17-W5 from the Agriculture (AG) District to Highway Commercial (HWC) District. Copies of the proposed Land Use Bylaw Amendment may be examined in the office of the County Administration Building between the hours of 8:15 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Council for Big Lakes County is considering a proposed amendment to the Big Lakes County Land Use Bylaw No. 03-2017. The purpose of proposed Bylaw No. 13-2019 is to re-district Plan 112 0432, Block 1, Lot 1 (within NW 25-73-13-W5) from the Agriculture (AG) District to Commercial Recreation (CREC) District as shown on the accompanying sketch
