Clean Up Grant

Big Lakes County is pleased to offer two clean up programs to community groups; highway cleanup and hamlet cleanup. Depending on which program a community group is approved for they will remove garbage from County-owned ditches, parks etc in turn for a donation.

This program is governed by Council Policy ADMIN-55 Grant Funding Policy.


Amount 

  • $1,000/hamlet;
  • $100/km (up to 20km);

Payment

Payment is issued after the event is complete, all county-owned supplies are returned, and a claim form is submitted.

Deadline 

Applications are accepted year-round, but events are weather dependent.
